Psychic training

The four primary types of psychic perception

The four primary types of psychic perception are:

Clairvoyance: the ability to see auras, guides/angels and other things that are not seen with our physical eyes.

Clairaudience: the ability to hear voices of guides, angels or spirits.

Clairsentience: the ability to glean information through impressions without having the experience of seeing, hearing or feeling first.

Intuition: a gut feeling that you should act in a certain way or that something is right or wrong.

The more you continue on this spiritual journey, the more you are likely to discover your strengths and weaknesses. Here are some simple exercises to help you develop your psychic skills.

Visualising colours: this is a visualization exercise; imagine walking in the countryside and see all the colours of nature vividly in your mind. The various shades of greenery, the blues of a river, brown trees … imagine the scene turning into autumn and see the leaves turning golden brown. If you haven’t a lot of time for this exercise, concentrate on one particular colour and try to see it in its various shades, in your mind.

Scanning: stand about 4-6 feet away from another person, facing each other, eyes closed. Relax and visualise the other as a ball of pure energy. Use your inner eye to scan the person opposite from top to bottom and note any words, images, colours, thoughts or feelings within your own body while you are scanning. Afterwards discuss these with each other.

Predicting: at the start of each day, close your eyes, breathe deeply, envisage what might happen in the day ahead, note any colours, thoughts, smells and other sensations that come into your head and write these down. At the end of each day, check through these and you might recognise some as having been firm predictions.

Keep a journal of your experiences and this will help you to also realise how far you are progressing.

As you start to develop your psychic ability you might experience unusual events such as hearing someone talk to you when there is no-one around or sensing there is someone or something near you when physically, you’re alone. You might pick up the thoughts and feelings of other people along with a heightened sensitivity to noise, lights and environment.

Remember: observation is important. Seek quiet times with nature as nature is a great teacher and spend time alone in meditation. Learn without expectation and don’t anticipate too much too soon.

Once you get in tune with your psychic self you will be fascinated by the other realms that have existed around you all your life that you’ve never noticed before. The more you notice, the more patterns will be apparent to you and you will become more intuitive. Listen to your inner voice, trust it and it will grow stronger.

Take your time, remember that practice makes perfect and delve regularly into what interests you in the supernatural and mystical realms.
